Bonney Lake Fire

Bonney Lake Fire

Last week our world was on fire. My heart ached as many of Noah’s childhood memories were threatened by flames. Our Sumner home, our Bonney Lake home, our old church, and Noahs elementary school all threatened to go up in smoke. I tried to prepare myself for this. There really is no good way to describe the war my heart was waging with my head. Only thing I could do was pray and leave it up to God. I knew that not everything would still be standing at the weeks end, but I tried my best to let it be. Then a funny thing happened. The fire fighters slowly gained control of every one of these fires. One by one things started to look up. Earlier this week I learned every last structure had survived. God is good. He is there in the details. I know these buildings won’t last forever. I understand that life evolves and so must I. Still I am so grateful that I don’t have to say goodbye just yet. ❤

When the night is dark and painful, be a stargazer.
